interesting analysis. it would be more interesting if you could post the source (analyst etc.)

shva has reported that its remote access software business (from the Airsoft purchase) has been growing the last several conf. calls along with access concentrator switches while the older product lines declined.

i find it hard to believe they will abandon the high end concentrator switches that have a lot of software included in the product. i think they have already been moving away from the old commoditized hardware. i'm pretty sure nortel wants them to focus on R&D and production of the high end gear that goes into NT Power Networks.
