re Noble Group - NOBGF.pk I think they are issuing bonus shares in a few days and it may be that the shares trade ex today because of he settlement thing. These guys are pretty aggressive imo. they have bought quite a few assets (coal mines etc.) in 2009 cheap paid for in cheaply issues shares <g>. Their balance sheet has a fair amount of debt. Margins are slim (trading business for the most part). The put together an impressive track record so far but I wonder how far their acquisition strategy can carry them. The annual report looks very impressive but you need to go through 80 pages to find a reference to earnings/share. That's a yellow flag for me.
