Sedona and the Alamo: They certainly are in different directions. It is along and, might I say quite, boring ride from Surprise to the Alamo. Should you venture to Sedona plan your trip around weather--July and August are quite hot up here. Route 89A from Prescott via Jerome and Sedona to Flagstaff is one of the most scenic in the country. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 2 1/2 hours from Sedona. Sedona welcomes visitors--pose any inquiry and I'll give you a straight answer. RonM in Sedona
