It is not a myth. Human beings affect their planet. Starting billions of fires everyday and driving them all over are certainly real events and that is just a small part.

If you lit ten fires in your nuthouse every day and burned ten pots of gas you would know you existed and that what you did mattered and you could not pretend otherwise.

Scientists know very well that what people do makes a difference to the environment. Even monkeys know that and so does every creature with more than ten cells in their brain.

Would the climate change if there were no people?? Of course it would--and does and always has. Are humans ACCELERATING global warning in this day and time at this time and place? Obviously!

Is our impact significant enough that we could change our behaviors en masse and make a significant change in how greater factors impact how geological history unfolds? I have no idea.

Will the oceans rise in the future and flood out entire countries? YES. Will there be ice ages in the future that will bring huge glaciers across inhabited areas? YES?

Will there be causes for these events? YES. Is human behavior a subset of the set of causes? YES. Or does human behavior operate in a parallel universe which has no effect on this one? Not likely.

Does EVERY scientist know that humanity is accelerating changes in climate? YES! even if they pretend otherwise.
