I spent some time looking at arieal views of the sea ice at different times and the 1-2 and ? year ice. It may have been one you gave posted.

What I noticed immediately was how broken up the ice was all across the north and expecially off Alaska, which may be allowing strong currents to move without impediment?

If there was no ice up there at all imagine how strong currents could increase from west to east I guess?

We are having a very warm spring.
