There's no difference in our point of view. I don't think we have a single true 'leader' in our government. I was just using the term loosely.

I don't want a leader that people will follow blindly. I want a leader that people want to follow because he or she speaks the truth and stands on the Constitution.

I do not think we can do better with the Constitution, but we need people who will lead on what it actually says, rather than what they want it to say. I also want somebody who does not 'want' the job but will accept it if forced on him or her.

I'm hoping that a challenger to Patty Murray, the Senator from my state, will prove to be such a person.

His name is Clint Didier. I've met him, and his message was clear and concise, and based on limiting the power of government and adhering to the Constitution. He started out as a farmer's son and is a farmer now, working a thousand acres almost by himself.

He thinks our country is in trouble and wants to do something about it. He says he does not want to get into politics for himself, because he's already lived the American dream. He was a pro football player for many years and has two Super Bowl rings to prove it. Were I in his shoes, I'd sit back and bask in the glory of the past.

Didier was born and raised in Eltopia, Washington, which he jokes the mapmakers changed from Hell To Pay.
