I haven't looked at Zinc in a few years. But when I last worked with it, it was pushing object oriented design with c++ to its limits. I do not believe a more OO implementation is possible, without moving to a different language.

The Zinc library was well designed, even if overly complex, and utitlized extensively the principles of good OO design. Where you got your information I don't know. Perhaps the package has degenerated over the years, but that seems unlikely.

Just curious; what is the basis for your statement regarding Zinc?
