Re: Flags of Our Fathers by James Bradley John Bradley was another Central Wisconsin guy. He owned a funeral home in Antigo and his kids attended school there. My aunt, an elementary teacher, had those kids in class. She used to tell stories about Bradley and Iwo Jima--I was too young to be interested. WWII seemed like ancient history to a teenager in the 50s.
