ConSyGen Appoints Advertising Agency for New Marketing Campaign
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1997--ConSyGen Inc. (OTC BB:CSGI) announced today that it has appointed E.B. Lane & Associates Inc. of Phoenix to spearhead its new marketing campaign.
''We wanted to retain a local Phoenix-based agency, if at all possible, that had a proven track record. We asked for recommendations from several well-respected professionals in the community and the Lane Agency name was mentioned over and over,'' stated Ron Bishop, ConSyGen's president and CEO. ''Our fully-automated ConSyGen 2000 toolset is fast and accurate at making code compliant for the Year 2000 at a very reasonable cost. We think we have a truly incredible toolset that has the capability to correct up to three million lines of code overnight. As such, we need a strong and effective advertising agency to make the world aware of ConSyGen and its Year 2000 toolset. We believe that E.B. Lane & Associates is that agency.''
''After meeting with E.B. Lane, it was obvious that they would be an ideal fit for ConSyGen. Their track record and knowledge of what it takes to conduct a successful and effective advertising campaign were very apparent,'' stated Jeff Richards, vice president and director of marketing. ''We anticipate that the campaign will start within the next couple of weeks with a series of advertisements in the Wall Street Journal and other publications.''
E.B. Lane & Associates Inc. is a full service advertising, PR, research, sales promotion and media services organization, which has $42 million in annual billings, and has been in operation since 1962. Based in Phoenix, it has an extensive range of local and interstate accounts, and is ranked as the largest local advertising agency in Arizona. The agency President, Beau Lane, commented, ''We are particularly pleased to be able to add ConSyGen to our list of clients, and to influence what will become a national and international media effort.''
ConSyGen Inc. is a Phoenix-based software company that provides conversion/correction services with its proprietary technologies. The company's ConSyGen 2000 software is a fully-automated toolset that automatically corrects dates in both source code and data to be compliant for the Year 2000 and beyond. The company's ConSyGen Conversion toolset automatically converts software to run on a different hardware platform. For example, software running on older BULL, IBM, Unisys, etc. mainframes can automatically be converted to run on new open or client-server platforms (often called downsizing).
