Texas Board Of Education Tried To Keep Word 'Slave' Out Of 'Slave Trade'

Big thing on the news last nite..........the ultra conservative TX Board is picking books right now and they have gone even more ultra conservative.......and not just about slave trade. Its really frustrating because TX and CA determine what books kids use going to school. CA is broke so its not buying any books.......so in effect, TX controls the educational system in the US. To counteract that problem, WA state districts are trying to reorder old books.
