I love RVT and own the preferred stock, but the common is up more than 100% in the past year. That is not a contrarian pick. I don't trust the Russians, either, but I trust them and Turkey to have huge volatility and they've fallen from the 90s to the teens. Not the low price, but pretty darned low relative to the past.
