Can you substantiate that they are borrowing these funds as you say from the fed? i spent some time looking at latest quarterly filing from GS and all i see are something like under $4 billion of short term debt gteed under TLGP and slightly under $20 billion of long term debt gteed by the FDIC under the TLGP program. Now unquestionably being a bank and having access to the feds emergency window will lower interest rates overall.
