The bottom line for the libertarians is that government only exists to insure the safety of its citizens by a strong, home based military (that's cool), and law enforcement. Fire on the state/local level. All the rest is big government. Your meat will be safe because the person who will sell you untainted meat will be put out of business cuz everybody knows he sells tainted meat and goes somewhere else. Abortion is bad, but stopping me from driving my 15 year old concubine across state lines to get one is my own business, and the government has no obligation to stop me. That sort of stuff. No Nat Hurricane Center, Volcano Watch Center, Earthquake Center, CDC to make swine flu vaccine, etc. We're gonna have such fun.
