Ok, let us see. The name was different, the protocols were different, the organization was different, in fact, virtually everything but a handful of services that, with the exception of email, are rarely used, is different. Yet, according to you, they are the same.

Why? Why wouldn't it have been over AOL, Compuserve or any of a number of other competing networks? Did it have anything to do with the government picking a winner?
