I'd like to see a whole lot fewer people put in prison, for starters. After that I'd be open to other possibilities.

At what level of offense would you favor exile? Physically violent crime is relatively easy, although there is the bar room brawl or the domestic version that could be a problem.

White collar crime? Violence in the sense of destroying peoples lives by stealing their savings?

Political crime? Bribery (in one form or another) that leads to laws helping one group to the detriment of others, also a form of violence (sort of, sometimes)?

Messy, messy, messy. I'm beginning to see the appeal of Sharia.
Anyway, the day must proceed. It's been fun. Makes me really happy I'm not King. Too much responsibility.
