This is quite an accomplishment------Hawaii is acting like a State of the USA-----and a moderate to conservative state as it protects it's own turf.

The 1st District as I see it, which was the district I knew when living there, appears to be saying no to Obama's socialist policies and distancing itself from Obama's Democrat Coalition.

The test will be to see if Charles Djou will be able to hold the seat in November.

In Honolulu it was not unusual to be invited to events for both the Democrats and the Republicans--------everyone knew everyone---after all Honolulu is a small place----like one large town for residents. Djou's win likely imo had Democrat support.

A race to be watched in November.
