It's the lib way to deal with guilt. And seriously O is way out of his league on this. He's a lawyer and community organizer. So he sends lawyers and tries to play the blame game.

I was really embarrassed for Salazar when he came out of the meeting in Houston yesterday. He seemed like a child having a temper tantrum.

BP is clearly doing everything they possibly can.

Yesterday, to a person, on ABC's program the roundtable guests claimed it isn't Obama's "Katrina". But it really is. He has shown a terrible lack of leadership. Even if one argues that GWB lacked leadership early on in Katrina, a month end they were very much on top of it (I am not amongst those who believe Katrina was a failure on the part of the GWB administration).

Obama is flailing about in incompetence a month into this deal.
