I'm not asking you about what you said, I'm asking you to respond to my point.

Nor did the article I posted.

Only in the sense that if it said A>B that by doing so it didn't claim B<A.

Forget what you said for a moment. You will never admit to the logical implications of your own statements, and its probably a waste of time trying to get you to do so.

Instead, please, just reply to the specific point -

"If the spending cuts did not decrease revenue more than they decreased the amount spent, than the spending cuts did not increase the deficit, and so where not the cause of the higher deficits in Ireland."

Is that statement true or false in your opinion? If so why?
