And you know what is harsh imo, :)
Is letting the RICH (Big Oil) (BO, et al) go on drilling in VERY sensitive areas of our environment at the risk of things like this happening..
And NOT letting me, a poor, ragged geologist, treasure hunter, etc. with his arse hanging out of his jeans just go out with his metal detector trying to find something on public lands at the risk of losing the detector, his old 30-30, his broken down Toyota, and even his dog and his wife, if they happen to be with me as they try to hook a ride to town to try to bail me out.....
All by the call of some poor sheet, some low level, stupid A$$ Government worker, whether they be USFS or BLM and just following orders, without thinking....
There is something wrong here in my mind..
As all I do, if I get a signal, is maybe dig a 12" hole at deepest in the desert with a trowel or small shovel and THEN FILL it up..
I know I have a footprint with that but it's not like BO in my mind.. |
