Paul: the ROI from tropical fruit, taro and hardwood trees (very l/t) was a real estate tax dodge at best. My tax base is now Florida and I am a nomad presently. The unions and Democrats destroyed the economy in Hawaii for the last 10 tens and now well into the future. The Ukraine looks like a better bet at present than Hawaii.... A great place but zero future for the businessman or anyone of wealth. I like to take a longer view in my investments and just don't see much of anything with the low long-term risk and high ROI of a company like Intel. You gotta have products and management. INTC has it. The swings get my bloodpressure up but it has been profitable so far. I don't like to give back points as much as anyone but over the next two years I believe!!! If Andy Grove would run for Governor of Hawaii I might head back. aloha
