Lindsay Lohan left the Beverly Hills court house on Monday wearing one more fashion accessory to accent her professional-looking business suit -- a court-mandated SCRAM bracelet.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Yes, your honour.

Those were the only three words uttered in court by Lindsay Lohan as a judge on Monday morning ordered the actress to stay sober and submit to weekly drug tests in Los Angeles area, which could threaten a film she is shooting in Texas.

The 23-year-old Mean Girls star was also outfitted with a court-ordered SCRAM alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet and told to attend all of her scheduled alcohol education classes.

The bracelet was installed on Lohan’s ankle immediately after the court hearing, L.A. Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said.

“The SCRAM bracelet has just been installed," Parachini told reporters who waited for Lohan to exit the court afterward. “That's what the delay was. When she left, it was on her.”

If Lohan violates any of her strict bail conditions, Judge Marsha Revel warned, she could be jailed for 180 days. It all stems from a 2007 DUI which landed Lohan three years probation.

Lohan strode into the packed Beverly Hills courtroom at about 8.37 a.m. Monday morning, late for her 8.30 a.m hearing, wearing a dark pant suit and a white shirt with a plunging neckline. Her hair was pitch-black and she appeared tired. A few times she glanced back at the dozens of reporters who packed the courtroom, but seemed unfazed by the crowd.

Throughout the 15-minute hearing, however, Lohan’s facial expression was stern and serious. She was clearly trying to project a more court-friendly image than the party-animal persona she’s recently been cultivating in the tabloid press.

At one point, Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, attempted to object to Revel’s bail conditions and tried to explain how the court order would interfere with a film Lohan is shooting in Texas.

“Ms. Lohan has a number of upcoming photo shoots as well as filming a movie in Texas,” Holley said, explaining the bracelet would adversely impact Lohan’s ability to shoot the film.

Holley also said that Lohan’s uncle — her mom Dina’s brother — had died last week.

She asked the court if Lohan could undergo random testing in Texas.

Revel shot this down. The judge said that if need be, she would be happy to spend 30 minutes explaining her reasons for keeping Lohan in check. This prompted Holley to sit back down to confer with her troubled client.

During this conversation, Lohan clearly rolled her eyes as Holley explained the reality of the situation, that the judge wasn’t willing to negotiate.

Revel then asked Lohan if she understood the conditions.

“Yes, your honour,” the actress said in her trademark raspy voice.

Revel, who was supposed to be on vacation Monday, came into work specifically to deal with the Lohan case, which was supposed to have been dealt with last Thursday. Lohan infamously missed that mandatory probation hearing after claiming her passport had been stolen while she was in France for the Cannes Film Festival.

She accused her father, Michael Lohan, of arranging to have her passport stolen in France.

Despite his attendance at Thursday’s non-hearing, Michael Lohan was not at the Beverly Hills court Monday. Neither was Dina Lohan.

After Lohan failed to show up for her Thursday hearing, Revel issued an arrest warrant and set bail at $100,000. After Lohan’s people posted a 10% portion of the bail, the arrest warrant was dropped, but Lohan was still ordered to appear in court.

Her next court date, a probation hearing, will be July 6.
