DVD is coming. However you have to consider that DVD is targetted at a completely different market. Supposedly DVD is supposed to be out by the end of the year, with several other vendors following closely behind. DVD however will not eat up HD vendors; the access time will be too slow (and they won't have rewriteable models out right away).

So if you're holding IOMG or PNCL, don't worry about DVD too much. It'll come and replace CD-ROM, but not hardrives or even fast rewriteable optical drives, not in the short term anyway (2-3 years).
As for the stock price, expect it to fall soon and then do better by the end of the year.
