Yes I remember the UBB and how weird the trading in brazilian stocks became then with UBB downto 7 and the telebras holding at barely 50.. Somehow 2010 does not look right, stocks shed lot of performance and banks traded as if there is no crisis. But charts look broken, once more and fundamentally the story is not in favor of oil producing states (with oil falling) south america (with equityholders in spain etc struggling) and the inherent pressure buildup in international politics. Often a recipe for disaster, or if not that, a steeper correction.
