"But you and Dak have proclaimed one's own personal happines is the supreme moral value."

Firstly, please stop mixing other peoples opinions together with mine. I have no idea what others have said or the context or how it relates to their full arguments or beliefs. Capiche??

And try not to add your own opinions to my beliefs.

The first right is the right to life. What supports life in a general sense is "well-being". That can loosely be defined as "happiness" but because you are incapable of holding even simple concepts in your conception we are not going to deepen the premises at this time.

Enough for you to know that there is NEVER a rational reason to harm anyone other than in self defense. Murder is NEVER conducive to well-being because it violates the mutual consent to the idea of a lawful reality. A person could CLAIM to be rational and to have moral values but if that person hurt others, then she would be eschewing the values of reason and lawful existence and would thereby be eschewing the value of her own existence.

To make it simpler for you because you are not going to get it anyway: If both of us are in a plane and we both say we value life and we both claim to know that reason is a guide to existence and well-being and it leads through proper syllogistic argument to the idea that it is necessary to support as rational the mutual acknowledgment of certain rights and freedoms and if you then state that none of our discussion mattered and that it was ok to step out of the plane into the air then your well being would not truly be a rational value for you. Either you were irrational or you were like the storied Brummel Jack-ass who "just didn't give a damn"!

A rational person who truly believes that reason is the highest value could NOT step out into the air UNLESS he was sacrificing for an incredibly high value such as his child.

"I know I have a reason not to, I believe in God"

That is just the DUMBEST thing I have heard. How is that a REASON????
