Ted, so the "non-partisan" CBO is trying to prove a negative. Unemployment is at 9.9%, but it would have been 11.4% without "stimulus."
Meanwhile, real economists doubt the stimulus had any effect:

So then, these people are mostly economists and ex gov't officials. Those two groups were not the focus of the Stimulus and its intended relief. So its not surprising that 73% of NABE's 68 members have not experienced any employment increase due to the Stimulus. And when you stop and think about it.....how representative are 68 members in a country of 310 million people? But of course, go ahead and use them to come to your anti Obama conclusions about the Stimulus because that's what you love doing, isn't it? Justifying your votes for assholes like Bush. |
