Ted, one more post on the oil spill. Obama was visiting a solar plant today and praised alternative energy sources, as usual.

But he couldn't resist talking about how alternative energy can reduce the risk to the environment that offshore drilling poses, especially with regard to what's happening in the Gulf of Mexico right now.

He makes a valid point, but the timing of his speech was absolutely horrendous. Obama is more interested in taking political advantage of the oil spill than in actually cleaning it up.

James Carville is calling out Obama on his lack of leadership, and for good reason too. Carville lives in New Orleans these days.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste."
