tejek, you have become a true believer. No matter what the evidence about anything Obama may have done wrong you are see no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil.

I am a hard core yellow dog democrat who will vote for Oama no matter what in th enext election, but---

There are lots of things Obama should have done and can still do. Many of them symbbolic, but very important. He should have insisted the best minds in the country estimate the amount of the flow of oil rather than stick to BP's BS estimates. And then told the people "we disagree with BP", not walk in lock step with BP.

Just government's best estimates. That would have gone a long way to give the administration credibility.

We all know they are wrong, so when the administration ties itself to BP's lies they get guilt by association. And that goes for everything BP has been lying about, like the CEO saying the impact would be minimal.

The administration should have leveled with the people straight out and told us it would be the travesty it is. They had to know, I knew!

If you go back several weeks you will see I told mindmeld this would be a travesty much worse than the Valdez oil spill (which was a spill).

It was always so clear, but the people want to hear it from the president.

And obama should have gone down there immediately and stayed there for a while to see how things were going for himself and brought a good group of administrators with him.

I cannot believe we are this far into this oil blow out and Obama has not virtually lived down on the coast!
