From briefing.com:

Semiconductor Industry Association: industry association says that September global chip sales increased by 14.7% compared to a year-ago, as sales rose to $11.8 bln.....

So can anyone tell me what is all the gloomy talk over reduction of semi demands?! or is it all based on the volatile situation in the insiginificant Hong Kong that is scaring everyone away from the semis (and for that matter the entire tech sector?!

It seems the usual summer decline of tech stocks did not take place till fall this year. Therefore this idiotic sell off situation should continue for another 4-5 weeks after which the extreme exuberance should be back to the sector just before Christmas! We will see a 6900 DOW once again during the next 4-5 weeks before finishing the year, in my opinion, with the DOW of 8100 !
