I wish Obama had:

Given BP a week to fix the mess, then directed the military to drop a nuke on the wellhead, crushing the borehole and sealing the leak forever. It would have been ultra-dramatic, have made Obama look like Iron Man! His popularity would have skyrocketed and the (R)'s would be totally flummoxed.
