Thanks. Lots of good stuff. Bruce B. resigned from the White Mountains board because he now owns so much stock in competitors---AIG maybe. Saw an interesting idea about Sears and puts, maybe it wil be useful: I love SHLD, for one particular reason--- I figure an entry anywhere under $60-70 is good for me. Since so many folks seem absolutely convinced they're going to go bust, the put premiums have been amazing the last 18 months. e.g., A while back I got a premium of 17.29 on $60's for next Jan, for a net entry of $43, a level at which I think risk is pretty contained. Maybe it's time to look again.
