There was no pilot. This was a pilotless aircraft. 80% of all new aircraft from now on have no pilots. I worked at the test range before I retired a couple years ago and this was one of the projects I was on. Pilots are no longer needed and are a risk in combat. It is much better to put the machine in the danger zone without risking our lives, only the enemy. Additionaly machines dont get scared and miss the target because they didn't want to fly through flak and dont need rest/sleep thus can stay up forever with inflight refueling.

Good Luck,

Lee
