I don't really think that's a viable answer because of the "..baby & bathwater.." issues. A tremendous number of Hispanics (especially) are honest, God-loving, civilized people that would simply starve to death in they remained in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua or Honduras, etc. Most of the jobs that perhaps 1/2 of your total illegals count take are those that the lower-end of the U.S. blue-collar constituency have already thumbed their noses at.
If we could sort the crims, pimps, mules, pushers, bangers and other assorted riff-raff from the remaining 13,000,000, I wouldn't have any issue giving those undesirable POSs ye ol' heave-ho over the fence..!!!
I grew up in Central America, and there are many, many families down there living in bohios (mud walled pole buildings with thatched palm leaf roofs) who subsist off of fishing, bow hunting, and harvesting wild corn, etc. They are truly better and more generous people than many of the Snooties living in the upper-scale Yuppie district of West Des Moines and elsewhere.
There are ways to manage the illegal immigrant problem without practicing heartless Nazism or being a Limpo bleeding-heart Liberal. But, that isn't going to happen while the Demoncraps are depending on them as "..pseudo-registered voters.." - in conjunction with the voting-dead in places like Illinois, LA, NY, etc.
