I've listened to a little, but certainly not all of that testimony. What I heard was not a fact finding mission; rather, it was a political witch hunt.

The importance of the information that has come out to date is not established. There is no compelling evidence at this point that BP behaved in an irresponsible manner.

That said, there is no way the company comes through this without being the devil incarnate. They are too easy a target for Ds & Rs alike (just as Bush was after Katrina, even though FEMA did its job reasonably well).
