NEW YORK, May 28 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks held their losses on Friday after the Institute for Supply Management-Chicago said its index of Midwest business activity fell in May.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 57.21 points, or 0.56 percent, at 10,201.78. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 6.07 points, or 0.55 percent, at 1,096.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 14.59 points, or 0.64 percent, at 2,263.09. (Reporting by Ryan Vlastelica; editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
