MQ, Re. Booming. No, a single line will be utterly useless if you know anything about the sea at all. What is clear that is would be gross incompetence to run a single line and expect it to stop any oil. The shoreline in the GOM is under threat and you would have thought somebody might be interested in doing a proper job to protect the shoreline, rather then look for a news hit. Perhaps just a 20 yard stretch just to show some concern and interest in doing a proper job. What do you do? Attack the person (the narrator) and ignore the problem. Not helpful. I am not surprised some people swear.
