Our well is 35' down, but they ran into water at 13'. Course we're 100' from the river. Besides having no impurities, what makes water "good" is that it goes down smoothly. Our water is cold, but you can't feel it going down. It is also incredibly delicious. I feel privileged owning a well. I consider it a great a gift.
