Believe it or not, there are some "teachers" out there who, during class hours, spend the majority of their time on the phone lobbying this or that pol. (Oddly, Patty [the mom in tennis shoes] Murray comes to mind.) This leaves the "teacher" no other choice than to have the Teacher's Assistant to do actual student evaluation......which, of course is illegal. All the while, the "teachers" who create this circumstance are pulling in a very heafty, tax payer funded salary and very adequate health care and retirement benefits.
