They've been posting their views for a while. Aside from the "I have information from someone who knows that Florida is going to hire Zitel within a month" postings, which have fallen off, the main views seem to be:

1) Everyone underestimates how big the Y2K problem is. Implicit in this view is that the problem is so big that companies will throw money at anyone who claims to have a solution. Since Zitel claims to have a solution, they'll get lots of money.

2) Hey, it might work, right?

3) I read a post that someone who knows someone told him that Florida is going to hire Zitel.

4) My broker told me that Florida is going to hire Zitel.

5) Matridigm has some major major names from IBM running the show.

Zitel stock is still a salable commodity. A broker can call someone and say The Year 2000 is approaching and it's going to cost tens or hundreds of billions of dollars. Zitel owns 1/3rd of a company which may have a silver bullet answer. They have been running into trouble getting it to work perfectly, but if they do, they could make a ton of money. There are some big ex-IBM guys running the show. The short position is huge, which means tremendous upside potential if it runs. There's a small float. And Farmer John from Bufo County will invest another piece of Tommy's college fund into Zitel.
