Sarah Palin Hatred Justifies Everything

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at May 29, 2010 12:39 AM

You remember how creepy, stalker "journalist" Joe McGinniss moved in next to Sarah Palin so he could leer over her family. All decent people were disgusted by this, because we recognize that a family's private home should be a refuge and a place of safety. Having a creepy yellow journalist papparazzo move in so he can leer over your family while writing a shoddy tell-all is a breach of this basic understanding of decency and boundaries.

But people who have lapsed into derangement over Sarah Palin's existence have lost any sense of decency. They have even - rather desperately - latched onto the renter's unsubstantiated claim that the Palins owe her money as further "evidence" to justify their deranged, obsessed hatred. Nobody even bothers to check if the neighbor is full of crap or not.

If Glenn Beck had rented the house next to the Obamas in Chicago, the exact same people who revel in anything that hurts Sarah Palin's family would be appalled.
They had a hissy-fit yesterday because they claim Glenn Beck "attacked" Obama's daughter; "attack" in this case meaning "briefly imitated her voice on the radio to mock Obama's 'Plug the hole' remark." But Sarah Palin's family... anything goes ... stalk them, make rape jokes about them, tell lies about them, move in next door and set up binoculars, fantasize that she has a stroke and becomes disabled ... it's all good. Because she's an opponent of the socialist state and its dear leader, and as such neither she nor her family is entitled to any human decency.

It's one thing to not want Sarah Palin to be president... or hold some other office... because of a philosophical disagreement with her political positions. When I posted on Hillary last night, I repeated what she said about the Brazilian economy and explained how she was wrong. When I posted on Obama yesterday, I explained why I thought his comments made him out to be a whiny little bitch. But I never wished for something bad to happen to either of them, let alone their families.

I may disagree with the progressive left politically, but that is no reason to hate them. It's their utter lack of basic decency that makes me despise them.

Update: Speaking of deranged, Palin-hating lefties ... AIDS-addled sodomite gossip-monger Andrew Sullivan is appalled that the Palins built a fence to protect their privacy from that McGInniss creep, but we're long past expecting decency who spent most of the Fall of 2008 in a soap-opera-dive-type crusade to prove that Trig Palin is not Sarah Palin's son. (And he is still whacking that dead horse, by the way.)

Also, SR notes in the comment that Joel McGinniss is a WLB with no sense of irony.
