Some answers to question about the name appear in the following posts gathered from AOL. I'm posting cause of the name as well as Bondage's comments about the water purification side of NVID.

Enjoy:

Subj: NVID's Market Niche

As someone with 20+ years experience in wastewater chlorination the
majority of my posts will address NVID's ionization process. The vast
majority of potable and wastewater disinfection is acheived through
chlorination. NVID along with a number of other companies which will
be discussed later is vying for a piece of the chlorination pie.

How big is the market for chlorine ? According to figures from the
Chlorine Institute...In 1995...13 Million Tons were produced. At 20 cents
per pound this equates to an annual market of 520 Million dollars.

NVID's ionization process is not a substitute for chlorine in all
applications.
Chlorine is used in paper mills to bleach pulp , used in bleach for home
laundry , etc. I would reasonably estimate that chlorination for potable and
watewater purposes could easily be 10% of the total market. This gives
a figure of $52 Million annually.....even 1 % would = $5 million
annual.

The top 4 producers in the United States are : Dow...PPG...Occidental
and Olin. If NVID were to gain significant market share , each of these
companies would have a buyout decision to make. If the technology
is sound and gains regulatory approval and public acceptance , do you
buy the company and realize the profits or stand by and watch market
share slowly erode ?

For starters it can kill you. Although these are old figures , I think they
serve the purpose. According to an unreleased report by the U.S. EPA
chlorine caused more deaths and injuries from 1980 to 1985 than any
other toxic chemical. Out of some 7,000 incidents reviewed by the EPA
chlorine was involved in 135 deaths and 1,500 injuries.

How many of these ionization units are in use and does anyone know
somebody who actually has one ?

A freind of mine works for the company part-time. As far as I know an area
YMCA has been testing the unit for some-time and it has worked well. From
what I understand, although he won't yet give me the specifics, they are
negotiating for other facilities in my area.

Why is this company called Network Video? As far as I can see, their products
are chemical or biotech and have not a thing to do with video. Just puzzled.

The principals with NVID International were in the video business from
1988 to 1994. On August 20 , 1994 NVID International was incorporated
in the State of Delaware. On October 1st , 1994 NVID International
acquired Superior Aqua Products , Inc. Superior Aqua is now named
Aqua Bio Systems Inc. This is all directly from info I received from them
which may be a little more than what others have received as I'm pursuing
a trial of this equipment for use in a wastewater treatment plant

Spoke to Bob Bunte today about the following :

Q. Do you have a website ?
A. No

Q. What can you tell me about competition with NVID Ionization process ?
A. The market is very fragmented with only 4 companies having NSF50
certification. NVID is the only public company...others are privately
held.

Q. What is the status of Microsafe and the USDA
A. Can't speculate on that. At some point in time they would receive
notification and put it out over the wires

Q. I had seen info at Silicon Investor that NVID had blue sky status in 6
states
and had filed with Moody's. What is current status ?
A. Moody's filing complete and blue sky status now in approx. 35 states

Q. How wide is NVID network of Sales offices and or distributorships ?
A. Ionization process is sold through manufacturer's reps who now cover
the whole country if the prospective customer is large enough. For
example : Hotel , Theme Park , etc.

within a couple months.

Thanks, Bondage82 for the clarification on NVID's previous video business.
That explains the company's title, which I saw listed when I last checked a
quote on AOL. I love the future of this company. Right now, though, the
sideways action has been pretty frustrating. Like many of these penny stocks,
one has to be VERY patient (or very LUCKY!) Larry
