What bugs me is with unemployment as high as it is, every beach in Louisiana should be covered with workers cleaning up the oil. Every beach, inlet and accessible marsh area. Literally tens of thousands of people should have already been hired by BP to help clean up the mess.

There is no excuse at this point! 41 days into a massive oil spill is ample time to hire thousands of clean up crews. Everyone with a boat sitting idle, everyone healthy enough to pick up a Kimwipe should be on the beaches cleaning up the mess. The faster it gets picked up, the less damage it will do to the ecosystem and local economy.
