I suspect you are not correct on Hugh Hendry's fund position. Yes he would probably benefit further from PIGS continuing to go down but his usual method is entering asymmetrical trades where the payoff for a relatively unanticipated event is huge compared to the cost of the derivative purchased to put on the trade. If the event does not take place he may lose 5-10% of fund value max.
