It was just the 20th perfect game in MLB history.

Modern Major League Baseball dates back to 1901. In the first 107 seasons, there were only 15 perfect games pitched. In the last 12 months, there have been 3 (Buehrle, Braden, and Halladay). Remarkable, statistically improbable, and perhaps a sign of the approach of Armageddon.
