"I don't have time to play the game Brumstone was playing by posting people one at a time that were polar opposites of freethinkers. Obviously, I cannot evaluate someone I don't personally know except through exhaustive research and I'm not prepared to do that every time somebody posts something ---especially when it is in bad faith--(like all of Brumley's crap is).

Here is a site which lists one person's opinion of freethinkers. Feel free to disagree with him in terms of whether the nominees subjected thought to reason and evaluated truth claims without ideological baggage or without undue passion or prejudice.

If you disagree with a person being on that list because they are irrational, ideological, emotionally skewed or whatever--feel free to ask me for my opinion. I will agree with you or disagree. There are no definitive answers--only well reasoned opinions in good faith--or emotional "opinions" intentionally misleading.
