The pertinent statute does not mention job, paying or nonpaying.

There is nothing novel about it. All the parties clearly believed the job had value. The president wouldn't have offered it had he not believed there was some value in it. And the man who rejected the offer said it was a "job offer" which, by definition, has some value. That's all that matters.

Everyone knows these turds are criminals. The only question is whether it can be proved.

We're talking about the destruction of the country here. If we have to have an investigation to get rid of him, fine.
