Duh! I have said repeatedly the fed. gov't should do exactly what they are doing. BP broke it; BP needs to fix it.

But what I think is irrelevant. If I think the feds should help, Rs will say they shouldn't. If I say the feds should stay out of it, the Rs will say the feds should get involved.

The problem isn't what I think; instead the real issue and problem is the absurd dysfunction attributable to the conservative movement in this country. Hence my comments. The GOP needs an intervention.....badly.
