That is NOT an attack on anyone:

""We grow good people in our small towns ..." And then added, "I grew up with those people. They're the ones who do some of the hardest work in America, who grow our food and run our factories and fight our wars. They love their country in good times and bad, and they're always proud of America."

Neither is this:

""We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. We believe" -- here the audience interrupted Palin with applause and cheers -- "We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation."

She continued: "This is where we find the kindness and the goodness and the courage of everyday Americans. Those who are running our factories and teaching our kids and growing our food and are fighting our wars for us. Those who are protecting us in uniform. Those who are protecting the virtues of freedom.""

Thanks for sharing it. Apparently some think that to praise one group of people is to attack everyone else.

"Palin also made a point of mentioning that she loved to visit the "pro-America" areas of the country, of which North Carolina is one. No word on which states she views as unpatriotic."

Right, note she didn't actually label any part unpatriotic.

Want to hear some real attacks on people as unpatriotic:

Liberals love to call folks who don't go along with their program, who dare to speak against it, unpatriotic ALL THE TIME. Ditto racist, ditto Nazi.

Gee, its almost like they're spewing hatred or something.
