Glenn Beck showed his true colors. Whenever you scratch a conservative yak attack guy, you don't have to go too deeply before you hit racist. Beck got in trouble for making fun of Obama's daughter asking about whether or not he'd plugged the hole in the Gulf yet. Who cares about that? That's just using a child to score political points, something Beck swears he won't abide in other commentators.
The lousy thing was when he used her to get a racist comment out there over the air to the sheeple who listen to him. In a skit, Obama's daughter asks, "why do you hate black people, daddy?" And, Obama, in an Uncle Tom voice, provided by Beck's white producer, replies, "because I'm part white."
Oh, well, put it on the shelf with the scores of time Rush Limberger has played "Barack The Magic Negro" on his show.
In the interest of fairness, I have to admit that I haven't caught O'Reilly doing this sort of thing, yet. He's done lots of horrible stuff, but it doesn't seem like racism is one of his main attributes. |
