International law says self defence is okay. Islamic Jihad in Gaza murders Israelis. Some ships were running the blockade for the purpose of resupplying the evil-doing Jihadists. Israel sensibly stopped them. Because the people being stopped became violent, the Israelis defended themselves by shooting, which is what soldiers do, though that might have been news to those on the ships. Mqurice
