ALIM is up 11.67^ on moderate volume still about half its ADV. The stock is up for 3rd day on a roll after finding support at the $8 level.<g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com It was started today by Oppenheimer with an "outperform" rating.<g> ALIM has been trimming its losses for the last 4Qs. It announced last week that a new analysis of data from its PIII of Iluvien, in patients with diabetic macular edema,which indicates that patient vision continues to improve significantly over 30 months. This new analysis was presented at the Citi Investment Research Global Health Care Conference in N.Y. last week. ALIM is currently conducting two PIIIs, known as the FAME Study, for Iluvien involving 956 patients in sites across the US, Canada, Europe and India to assess the efficacy and safety of Iluvien in the treatment of DME. ALIM has said that it plans to file an NDA for Iluvien in the US in 2ndQ and will follow with filings in Canada and Europe. Iluvien is an extended release intravitreal insert. Each Iluvien insert is designed to provide a therapeutic effect of up to 36 months by delivering sustained sub-microgram levels of fluocinolone acetonide. There is no ACTAY. I think I better check with some of my Ophthalmologist friends, especially those that limit their practice to retinal pathology.<g> Bernard
